Our Team

The company is led by Bongani Mgayi, Director and Founder, who brings more than 25 years of experience in social facilitation and marketing within the infrastructure sector. Over two decades, Bongani has built a reputation for managing complex stakeholder relationships, community engagement processes, and marketing communications on behalf of major contractors operating across South Africa.

Bongani is supported by a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team whose combined expertise spans creative direction, marketing coordination, on-the-ground social facilitation, and business administration. This blend of skills allows Welamaza to manage every dimension of a client relationship – from the visual identity that represents a project publicly, to the day-to-day coordination of campaigns, to the community-level engagement that keeps stakeholders informed and on side, to the administrative discipline that keeps every project running to schedule.
